As part of Wreaths Across America, a national movement to honor American servicemen, the Third Arrow Chapter of the Mississippi Daughters of the American Revolution placed wreaths on veterans’ graves during the Christmas holiday season.

Family members, Carroll Academy students, and other community leaders assisted in seeing that almost 200 wreaths were laid in Evergreen Cemetery.

At its February meeting, the cemetery board voted to participate in the program again next Christmas.
